Room Block Information A block of rooms have been reserved at the Marina Del Rey Hotel for the Iwan Symposium with a special rate of $119, not including tax.  This rate will apply for either a marina or city view, for either a single room, or a double.  All reservations are to be made through the hotel's reservation department by calling 800-882-4000 or 310-301-1000.  Please identify yourself as being part of the Iwan Symposium by using the room block number: "10728" when requesting this rate.  Note: The room block closed Monday, October 10th at midnight -- Please contact the Marina del Rey Hotel for room availability at (310) 301-1000. In the event the hotel cannot accomodate all the room requests, you may be directed to their sister property, the Marina International Hotel, located just 5 blocks away.  Both hotels will honor our room block rate, and the hotel's courtesy shuttle will be available to transport guests between the properties. Ground Transportation Located only five miles from the LAX airport, the Marina del Rey Hotel offers complimentary Scheduled Shuttle Transportation from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Upon arrival, please proceed to the baggage claim area to collect your luggage for before calling 1-800-882-4000 to schedule your pick up. Our Hotel Shuttle Van pick-ups are available between 6:00 am and 9:00 pm, seven days a week. For return trips to the Airport, please make a reservation with our Front Desk.
