Making the Impossible, Possible:
The Story of the Golden Gate Bridge

Originally entitled "Bridging the Gate", this is one of the many exhibits at the Golden Gate Bridge visitor area (South end) inside Battery Lancaster - this particular banner display provides a visual starting point in telling the story of the Golden Gate Bridge and its construction.

Display for Braille Model of the Golden Gate Bridge [Temporary]

This was the temporary display board, produced by CUREE for the Golden Gate Bridge Outdoor Exhibition. The final version that eventually replaced this, was cast in bronze in shallow relief and mirrors this design. It also includes a mounted miniature replica of one of the Bridge towers. This is currently on display in the main plaza at the Golden Gate Bridge visitor area (near the South end of the Bridge). (2013)

Completed version of the braille model exhibit

Photo of the completed version of the braille model exhibit, cast in bronze, and currently on display at the Golden Gate Bridge, near the entrance of the main visitor plaza at the South end of the Bridge.

Design for UC Berkeley (EERC) for the National Science Foundation funded
Large-scale Reaction Wall Testing Facility (2003)

This signage was designed for the UC Berkeley - EERC (then Earthquake Engineering Research Center) for the NSF-funded "NEES@Berkeley" Large-scale Reaction Wall Testing Facility.

Interestingly enough, upon last check, this original signage, printed on metal, still hang on the sides of that laboratory facility.

Display advertisement for the CUREE produced report: "General Guidelines for the Assessment and Repair of Earthquake Damage in Residential Woodframe Buildings"; compiled and edited by Jon Osteraas. This report was the winner of the 2008 SEAOC award for Excellence in Structural Engineering.

This was produced in both large and small format for use at various workshop/conference events.
