An 1890s Army cannon, one of many once guarding the Golden Gate, was protected from by thick concrete walls and a berm. Remodeled to allow accessible circulation and a view of the Bridge, this area makes an ideal "outdoor room" or gallery. Visitors will be able to walk through the area at ground level and also view it from upper levels by the existing flag pole and Roundhouse (gift store).
