Questions and Answers

Q: How much is shipping and handling?

A: Shipping is calculated at the time of check-out based on the total shipping weight of the order and method of shipping (see below).

Q: How are orders shipped?

A: Orders may be shipped either via UPS Ground or US Postal Service; which you may specify at the time of checkout. Rates will vary.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes. Orders must be paid for in US Dollars.

Q: Do I need to add sales tax?

A: Sales tax is only added to orders shipped within California (9.75% sales tax).

Q: Do you accept credit card purchases?

A: Yes, we accept Mastercard and Visa purchases only.

Q: Do I have to make my purchase through your website?

A: No. You may also mail in your order request.

Q: Do you accept purchase orders (PO's)?

A: Yes. Purchase orders forms must be faxed or mailed directly to our publications department. In addition to your specified purchase PO number, your purchase order should also include both your shipping and billing address (if different), and a printed listing of the item(s) requested.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: All sales are final. However we will gladly exchange any item if it is defective. (see below)

Q: What if merchandise is defective?

A: If you feel that an item is defective, please package it securely and send it back to our offices c/o "Publications" for an even-exchange. We will re-ship replacement item(s) at our expense.

IMPORTANT: Please include a note describing the defect or damage to item for faster processing.

Q: What if an item is out of stock?

A: Generally if an item is listed as "Out of Stock", this item is no longer in print and cannot be ordered. If an item is still "In press" or needs to be special ordered, it is designated as a "Call" item. Please contact us (curee [at] curee.org) to find out cost and shipping information for these items.

Q: Do you ship partial orders?

A: If we ship partial orders, it is generally due to an item being temporarily out-of-stock or currently in production. Remaining items will be shipped as soon as they are available at our expense.

Q: How do I check on the status of my order?

A: You will automatically receive an email regarding the status of your order. You may also log into your account to find out the status of your order.

Q: Is it possible to order an item that is currently out of print (O/P)?

A: Yes. If you would like to obtain a photo reproduction of an archived report document, please contact us at (curee [at] curee.org) for an estimate on shipping and reproduction costs.

Q: What if I forget my password?

A: If you forget your password, click on the "Forgot your password?" link on the log-in screen to request a new password.

Q: May I phone in an order?

A: Yes, our normal business hours are from Monday-Friday 9 AM - 5 PM (Pacific Time). Please call: (510) 665-3529. Orders may be placed using a credit card (Mastercard or Visa purchases only).
